Digital X-Rays

Our office has chosen to incorporate this technology for several reasons. The computer allows me to take x-rays using an alternative method to conventional x-rays. I am also able to reduce the exposure of radiation to your child by approximately 80–90%. Using digital radiography allows for an instant image, which will appear on the monitor. This helps to reduce the time that our staff would normally need to process the x-ray images, allowing us to spend more time with you and your child.

Lastly, digital radiography allows us to help preserve the environment for future generations. We are now able to obtain radiographic images without using hazardous chemicals to process the x-rays or photos. This makes the digital radiographs environmentally friendly.
